Job Title: Accountant

Department: Finance

Location: Hybrid in Office & From Home.

Reports To: Managing Partner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will play a crucial role in analyzing financial information, improving accounting processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial data interpretation and be able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
– Financial Analysis: Analyze and interpret financial information, including balance
sheets and profit and loss statements, to ensure accurate and complete reporting practices for budgetary, quarterly, and management reporting.

– Collaboration: Liaise with professionals, including executives, managers, external
accountants, and auditors, to assess current cost and revenue controls, cash-flow reporting processes, accounting systems, and modeling protocols.

– Process Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to existing accounting functions, processes, and systems. Recommend best practices and uniform procedures to support financial forecasting and strategic planning.

– Cost Management: Examine data related to costs, financial commitments, cash flow,
and general ledger entries. Compare budgeted and actual costs, ensure proper
incorporation of accounting information into reporting processes, and suggest strategies to reduce costs and improve profits.

– Monthly Reviews: Conduct monthly reviews of accounting results, including cost analysis, revenue control, and sales analysis. Monitor ledger accounts, transactions, and growth projections. Provide insights on financial matters and identify key variances.

– Reporting: Prepare internal and external accounting and audit summary reports to
support organizational activities and compliance.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– CPA and CFA designation strongly preferred
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
– Proficiency in financial modeling and data interpretation.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
– Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
– Prior experience in financial analysis and accounting roles is preferred.
